Mark Lyons

Somersworth - Mark D. Lyons, 53, passed away Friday May 17, 2024 at his home, surrounded by family, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born July 27, 1970, in Rochester he was the son of Victor and Beryl Lyons, Sr. Mark enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Millsfield, NH and spending much time on his ATV/UTV exploring the outdoors. He had a love for music, fishing both in the summer and on the ice. He enjoyed watching birds, especially the hummingbirds at the camp. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his dogs, Badger & Loki. He will leave behind a lasting impression as being the BEST husband, father, and Baba (grandfather) as he had a very special bond with his grandchildren. Members of his family include his wife Laura (Knight) Lyons of Somersworth, NH; his son David Lyons and companion Emily Martin of Milton, VT; and daughter Ashley DiBernardo and husband Matthew of Whiteland, IN; two grandchildren Rylee and Nolan, his mother Beryl Lyons of Rochester, NH; one brother Victor Lyons, Jr., and wife Sharman of Gonic, NH; his niece Jennifer Guinane and husband Dave of Farmington, NH, and nephew Alex Lyons of Gonic, NH. He also leaves behind many other close family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father Victor Lyons, Sr. Family and friends may visit Tuesday May 28, 2024 from 4PM - 6PM at the R. M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH. A celebration of Mark's life will follow at 6PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
