Marsha L. Neal

May 24, 1949 — August 5, 2024

Rochester - Marsha L. Neal, 75, passed quietly away on Monday August 5, 2024, while in hospice at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, following a brief period of failing health.
Born May 24, 1949, in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Beverly (Smith) Stanikmas.
Marsha had worked as a secretary for many years in several fields including at WPI in Worcester MA, and several schools in England, where she had moved to after meeting her husband, Andrew.
After they returned to the US they settled in Rochester NH.
She kept up her secretarial skills working for many years for a local driving school, but her true love became making jewelry. She enjoyed showing and selling at various craft fairs in the area over the years and made quite a few friends.
At home when not making jewelry she enjoyed listening to music, especially her favorite band the Moodie Blues, but if she does have a tune she will be remembered by it is Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, flower arranging for the home, and collecting Pfaltzgraff pottery. Somehow, she found time to ensure the house was decorated in different seasonal themes throughout the year.
Many thanks to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Wentworth Home Care and Hospice for their compassion, dedication, care and assistance to Marsha on this and other occasions.
Members of her family include her husband Andrew Neal of Rochester, NH, cousin BettyMae Smith of Hartford CT, daughter Andria Pawlina and her daughter Emily of CT, brother and sister Peter and Wendy of OH, sisters-in-law Sarah and Becca, their husbands Bob and Jon, nephews Tom, Chad and Ollie and their wives/partner Kate, Emma and Grace, and definitely not forgetting the "greats" Argo, Delilah and bump "Svetlana".
Marsha will be greatly missed by family and numerous friends.
