Martin Robert Ferland

Rochester, NH & Saint Cloud, FL- Martin Robert Ferland, 67, passed away Thursday July 28th 2011 after a long illness. Marty was born March 27th, 1944, in Rochester, the son of the late Robert Ferland and Ann (Constantopoulos) Davis. He resided in Rochester most of his life and retired to Florida in 2007. He served in the United States Army, was employed with Humpty Dumpty/Michaud Distributors for over 40 years and in his retirement worked part time for Walt Disney World. Marty loved his family, sports, history, gardening, Sunday brunch, antiques and hunting for treasure with his metal detector. He was always smiling, enjoyed making people happy, and had a great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, June (Davis) Ferland; his children, Melissa McDonough and husband James McDonough, Matthew Ferland, Sonya Channen and husband Mike Channen, Eric Rizkalla, David Husselbee; granddaughters Laska Nordaby, Elly McDonough, Alyssa Rizkalla, Serena Channen; grandson Thomas Channen; sister Jeri Clough and husband...
