Mary G. Atwood

Dover- Mary G. Atwood, 89 of Barrington, NH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday April 22, 2018 at Riverside Rest Home.  She was born on November 15, 1928 in Salem, Ma. , the daughter of Clifford and Margaret (Cronin) Pooler.  Mary was raised in Salem where she graduated from St. Mary's parochial school in 1945.  As a young girl she excelled in dance performance, particularly ballet as well as horsemanship. In the 1950's Mary and husband Bob moved their growing family to Barrington, NH where they resided until 2009.  She worked at Calef's Country Store for 25 years where she became well known and admired throughout the community. Mary was an avid reader with a special penchant for mystery novels.  She enjoyed the holiday season where she shared her magnificent Dicken's Christmas Village with all of the children and grandchildren.
