Rochester - Mary J. Booth, 90 of the Gafney Home passed away peacefully on March 16, 2011 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. She was born in Hudson, Massachusetts on May 13, 1920, the daughter of August and Annie (Nooakwrska) Misckowski. She was raised and educated in Hudson, MA. Mary had worked over 34 years as a machine operator at Thomas Taylor's in Hudson, MA. She married her best friend Robert W. Booth on November 28, 1940 at St. Michael's Rectory in Hudson MA and lived in Hudson until they moved to Rochester New Hampshire in 1980 after they both retired. Mary is survived by her son, Richard Booth and his wife Dolores of Rochester, NH - her grand-children, Paula Brodeur and her husband Michael of Marlboro, MA; David Booth of Springfield, MA; Robin Booth of Worcester, MA; Angela Schoonmaker and her husband Christian of Rochester, NH and Corrine Briggs of Rochester, NH - her great grand-children, Jennifer DaSilva of Florida; Shawn Russell of Marlboro, MA; Dalton Briggs, Jocelyn and Connor Schoonmaker of Rochester, NH - her great-great grand-children, Nicholas DaSilva of Florida and Travis Russell of Marlboro, MA - her three nephews, Joseph Peto of Acton, MA; Dennis Maskowsky of Ayer, MA and Richard Maskowsky of Maynard, MA. She was pre-deceased by her parents, August & Anni (Antoinette) Misckowski; her brother, Anthony Maskowsky; her sister, Blanche Milyaro; her husband Robert W. Booth and her son Robert A. Booth. Mary's family would like to thank the staff and residents of the Gafney Home for their wonderful compassion, care and friendship they gave Mary for the past 14 years. Calling hours will be held at R. M. Edgerly Funeral Home in Rochester, NH on Sunday, March 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service being held at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society in her name.
