Mary K. Strathdee

Mary K. Strathdee passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 20th, 2022 in North Port, FL with her husband and partner of 43 years, Jack Jadwin, by her side. She was 82 years old.Mary was born on May 11th, 1940 in Danvers MA to parents H. Lloyd Keefe and Mary Butler Keefe. Mary was a graduate of Quincy High. Mary's career was robust and variable as she simultaneously raised six children. Mary worked as a bartender, a Penobscot County Clerk and even an assistant to the Sheriff at the Penobscot County Sheriff's Department. She was also an HR manager for Webber Energy Fuels prior to becoming a real estate agent. In her retirement, she helped run the main office for her son, Grant, in his pool business in New Hampshire while she also filled in as office manager for local businesses needing coverage.Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed a variety of hobbies including knitting, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and playing mahjong with her friends. She also passed on a love of video games to many of her grandchildren.A...
