Maryann Leahy

Wakefield, NH- Maryann Leahy, 61, of Governor's Road, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, after her battle with cancer. Maryann was born July 22,1957 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Phillip and Lorraine (Foster) Dube. MaryAnn was married to Michael Leahy, on October 2, 1977 in Lowell Mass. They later moved to Rochester, NH and spent the last 12 years in Wakefield, NH in their dream house on the mountain.  Maryann was a very proud special education teacher at Rochester Middle School. You would always find Maryann with a book in her hand. She always read to her boys when they were little, and continued to read her whole adult life. Maryann looked forward to her summers, so she could spend time at the beach. Her favorite place was York Beach, and the Nubble Light House. Her favorite time of the summer was Fourth of July, vacation week, when all the family came together. Everyone that knew Maryann, knew you would never find a more avid Boston Red Sox fan.
