Melvin Harris

Rochester NH- Melvin Harris,83, of Trade Wind Lane died October 29, 2017 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a brief illness. Born January 16, 1934 in Gilmanton Iron Works NH he is the son of the late Ora and Jessie (McCleary) Harris. Melvin has lived in Rochester all his life.  He worked at Spaulding Fiber for 37 years until his retirement in 2009. He enjoyed tinkering with his computer and bowling in his early years. Members of his family include his wife of 57 years, Marlene Harris of Rochester NH, his son, Ronald Bickford and his wife Debra of Riverside NJ, his grandchildren: Michael Bickford and his wife Kristy and Steven Bickford and his wife Sandra, his great grandchildren; Sebastian, Madison, Sofia and A.J. There are no services. Cremation is under the care of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867.
