Meridan Tibbetts

Dover - Meriden Tibbetts, 89, passed away Friday August 12, 2016 at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH following a brief illness.   Born June 29 1927 in North Wolcott, VT she was the daughter of the late Neil and Helen (Mills) Gates.   Ms. Tibbetts was a homemaker who was very active in her community and her church.   Members of her family include her children Janet Warfield and partner Carl of Rochester, NH; Norman Tibbetts of Newport News, VA; and John Tibbetts and wife Jana of North Berwick, ME; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by her husband H. Nason Tibbetts, and her son Gerald Tibbetts.   Family and friends may visit Tuesday August 16, 2016 from 1-2PM at the R. M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S.
