Merleine Bailey

Middleton, NH- Merleine Pierce Bailey, 91, of 715 Kings Highway and formerly of Lebanon, ME died Wednesday March 23, 2016 at the Hyder House in Dover after a brief illness. She was born March 23, 1925 in E. Rochester, NH the daughter of the late Arthur and Hattie (Corson) Pierce. She has resided in this area all of her life and was a homemaker. Merleine was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Clover Chapter #138. She enjoyed camping and was a member of Good Sam Club and the Chickee Chapter. The widow of Melvin D. Bailey, she is survived by daughter, Muriel and husband Gardner Libby of Middleton; son, Melvin Craig and wife, April Bailey of Rochester; grandchildren, Crystal Ballou and Naomi Bailey; great grandchildren; Patty Dumont, Pam Libby, Danni Ballou, John Libby; great great grandchildren, Ashley, Hailey, Cody, Brayden, nieces and nephews.
