Micha Atkinson

Rochester - Micha Atkinson, 62, passed away Friday July 11, 2014 at the Hyder Family Hospice House following a period of failing health. Born July 2, 1952 in Seoul Korea; Micha had worked as a leather cutter for Encore Shoe, and later volunteered for the Rochester Head Start preparing food for the students. She loved spending time and taking pictures of her grandchildren, cooking and feeding people, and taking walks. Members of her family include her husband Michael Atkinson of Lebanon ME; her two children Michelle Atkinson and husband Derek Dirsa of Bradenton, FL; and Michael Atkinson and wife Bridgett of Rochester, NH; her grandchildren Jade, Josh, AryAunna, and Abigail and her best friend for many years Ron Savard of Rochester, NH. Family and friends may visit Wednesday July 16, from 6-8PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH.
