Michael William Burns

Rochester, NH- Michael William Burns, 54, of Rochester died unexpectedly on Saturday Sept. 30, 2017. He was born Oct. 13, 1962 in Rochester, NH the son of Lola (Tanner) Burns and the late Dr. James Burns. He was a graduate of Berwick Academy, Class of 1981 and Norwich University Class of 1985. Michael served in the U.S. Army and worked as a self- employed computer technician. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed skiing, hiking and Scouting. Michael was a member of Trinity Anglican Church of Rochester, NH. Members of his family include his sons, Michael and wife Samantha Burns, FT. Campbell, KY, Matthew Burns, Orlando, FL; granddaughter, McKenzie Burns; his mother, Lola Burns, Wolfeboro, NH; brother, Peter Burns, and sister, Piper Strong, both of VT, Aunt Theresa, Uncle Larry, Laconia, NH, nephews and cousins.
