STRAFFORD ; Michael John Gulick, 60, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at his home with his family after many years of struggling with Multiple Systems Atrophy.Born March 15, 1949, in Hanover, he was the son of Donald and Lorraine (White) Gulick.Michael had lived in Strafford for the past 29 years after moving from Portsmouth and Dover. He attended The University of Vermont, where he received his degree in civil engineering. He later went on to work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 25 years as a nuclear engineer. He later retired in 2000. He loved to watch the Boston Red Sox, his dogs and traveling with his family to many vacation destinations, especially the Grand Cayman Islands and Antigua.He is survived by his wife, Colleen (Moody) Gulick of Strafford, whom he married Jan. 19, 1979; a daughter, Amanda Major and her husband, Jason, of Epson; his sons, David Gulick of Providence, R.I., Nathaniel Gulick of Strafford and Jonathan Gulick of Strafford; his father, Donald Gulick of Ely, Vt.; his brother,...
