Minnie Currier

Rochester-Minnie A. Currier,94, of 5 Spring St died March 14, 2011 at the Hyder Family Hospice in Dover following a brief illness. She was born in Haverhill Ma on June 4, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Sargent) Hamel. Her family moved to East Rochester in the early 1920s. She attended East Rochester grammar School and graduated from Spaulding High School . She stayed in her East Rochester Home for her remaining years. Minnie will be remembered as a spiritual women who loved the lord and served him in many ways. She will be missed by her many friends, especially her two special friends who be came her caregivers in her later years, Janice Garran and Dorothy Roberts. Members of her family include her niece, Helen Gibson and husband Joseph and their son Randy of S. Carolina, her nephew, Robert Drew and wife Sheila of York Me, their children Bonnie Daly and husband Jim of New London Ct and their son Cameron, a niece in-law, Florrine Drew and her daughter Christine of KS.
