Miriam Althea Burrows

Strafford NH- Miriam Althea Burrows "Sis" 93, born August 17,1930 in Plaistow NH passed peacefully November 21,2023, at home surrounded by family and friends. She was educated in the Strafford school district and graduated from Austin Cate Academy in 1948. She worked at Claristat for many years, spent years in healthcare, served as a head cook at Austin Cate Academy and Camp Foss. She spent several years butchering with her father. She loved to spend time traveling around town with her husband and raising her children. Spending time with her family is what she loved the most. She was a very adventurous woman with many stories to tell. She had a strong passion for people watching, as well as bird watching and chasing squirrels away from her feeders. She will always be remembered as a beloved wife, mother,sister,aunt and nana.
