Muriel A Hussey

Rochester - Muriel Arlene (Osborne) Hussey, 93 a resident of Rochester, N.H. passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  Born on July 3, 1923 in Springvale, ME, she was the daughter of Pearl (Carll) Osborne and Charles Osborne.   Muriel was educated in the Rochester schools and while raising her children, worked in local shoe shops both in Dover & Rochester,NH; became a nurse's aid in 1953 through the Wayne School of Chicago, IL; also worked at the Canteen Drug Store and the Cress Motel in the sixties and seventies. She performed administrative work for the Women Infant Children (WIC) and most recently volunteered with the Rochester Cemetery Association.  She was passionate about her family genealogy so much so that she was a Life Member of the John Clough Genealogical Society.  Also contributing her opinion on issues in the community by writing letters to the editor at the Rochester Times.  We were amazed that even at 93 years old, she still had her sharp wit that...
