Rochester – Nancy K. Junkins, 62, passed away Saturday April 4, 2026, at the Hyder Hospice House following a period of failing health.

Born December 30, 1963, she was the daughter of Charles Pickering and Hilda (Beck) Karas.

Nancy enjoyed coloring, playing solitaire and watching Family Feud. Her favorite animals were pigs, and she had many decorations and books about them.

Members of her family include her husband of 38 years Harry Junkins, her daughter Catherine Hawkins and husband Peter, her granddaughter Chloe Bolster, her siblings Mike Pickering and wife Susan, Terry Stewart, Alan Pickering and wife Jamie and Jackie Pickering and wife Linda as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Ricky Pickering and parents Charles Pickering and Hilda (Beck) Karas.

Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Thursday April 9, 2026, at 6PM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester.
