Nancy Lake

Strafford - Nancy L. Lake, 68, passed away on December 24, 2015 at her home, following a period of failing health.   Born August 9, 1947 in Kingston, RI she was the daughter of Howard and Mary (Conners) Higgins, Jr.   Mrs. Lake was an elementary school teacher for the town of Strafford, NH for many years.   She was a member of the NH Retired Teachers Assoc. and enjoyed every aspect of educating children.   Members of her family include her husband Leonard Lake of Strafford, NH; her mother Mary Higgins of Rochester, NH; one brother Robert Higgins of Meridian, MS; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Price of Strafford, NH, nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by her father Howard Higgins, Jr., her brother David Higgins, and her sister-in-law Darla Higgins.   Family and friends may visit Wednesday December 30, 2015 from 10-11AM at the Third Baptist Church of Strafford, located at 30 Strafford Rd. in Strafford, NH.   A funeral service will follow at 11AM.   Arrangements are under the direction of the R.M....
