Dover, NH- Nancy Ann Wideberg, 84, formerly of Holiday Drive died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017 at Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation after a period of failing health. She was born May 23, 1933 in Rye, NY, the daughter of the late Eugene and Muriel (Edwards) Rosenquest. She worked in the Rockland County, NY Legislature as secretary for many years. An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoyed hiking, tennis, and cross- country skiing. She loved painting, knitting, crafts and playing sudoku. Nancy especially enjoyed spending time with her family, specifically her grandchildren. The widow of Carl E. Wideberg who passed in 2010,she is survived by sons, Carl and wife Dawn, Naples, FL., Noel and wife Jeannette, Sebastian, FL., Bryan and wife Beth, Rowley, MA., Robert of Londonderry, NH, Bruce and wife Judith, Ipswich, MA; daughters, Siri Peterson and husband Daniel, Rochester, NH, Kathleen Ledwick and husband Troy, Richmond, WA; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Rosenquest and wife Lorraine, Alan Rosenquest and wife Carol, both of CT.; nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Glen E. Wideberg, sister and her husband Sally and Dudley Ranzetta. The funeral service will be held Friday Aug. 25, 2017 at 3PM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. Burial will be Monday, Aug.28, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Dover Center for Health and Rehabilitation, Activity Fund, 307 Plaza Drive, Dover, NH 03820-2455.
