Nelson Moffett

Dover NH-Nelson Moffett, 83, of Washington St in Barrington died January 25, 2017 at the Dover Rehab and Living Center. He was predeceased by his wife Sharon (Crosby) Moffett. Born July 1, 1933 in Gonic, NH he was the son of the late Leo and Marie Rose Moffett. Members of his family include his brothers; Joseph Moffett of Gonic NH, Wilbrod Moffett of Wisconsin and predeceased by Roger and Wilfred Moffett. Sisters include Yolanda Noyes of Rochester NH, Edwidge Coats and Delia Mattocks of Wisconsin. Children include Phillip Moffett and his wife Kathy of Farmington NH, David Moffett and his wife Elizabeth of Somersworth NH, Rick Daudelin and his wife Gail of Nottingham NH, Gary Moffett of Gonic NH, Joe Davis of Farmington NH, Craig Davis and his wife Lucille of Rochester NH, Nelson Moffett and his wife Tracy of Brookfield NH, Robin Welton of New Milford CT, Katy Munger of Barrington NH, and predeceased by Wade and Heidi Cutter of Barrington NH. Nelson lived in Barrington NH most of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors, doing jigsaw puzzles in bad weather and spending time with his family. He worked as a machinist at Davidson Rubber in Dover NH until his retirement.  He is a past member of the American Legion Post #7 in Rochester. Calling hours will be on January 30 at 10 AM and Memorial services at 11 AM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH, 03867. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society. Burial will be in the Crown Point Cemetery in the Spring.
