Portsmouth, NH-Norma J. Bourne, 79, of State Road in Kittery ME passed away on February 26th at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Born in Plattsburgh, NY, she was born to the late Harold and Marion (Stratton) Raymond on October 8th, 1938, and is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, Robert Bourne.
Norma lived in Rochester NH for 18 years before relocating to Kittery ME nine months ago. She worked as a retail manager for Caldor Department Store and Kidsport USA for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rochester NH for many years where she served as a Layleader, and then a member of the Berwick United Methodist Church. As a military wife she greeted the planes of returning veterans in Ohio for years, and was an avid reader and talented knitter for most of her life.
