Rochester NH- Norman D. Laurion, 85, of 192 Old Dover Road died suddenly Friday Feb. 3, 2012 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover after a period of failing health. He was born Sept, 21, 1926 in Rochester NH the son of the late Theodore and Leda P. (Allaire) Laurion. He was a lifelong resident of Rochester and long time communicant of Holy Rosary Church. Norman served in the U.S. Navy, Army and AirForce during three wars, WWII, Korea and Vietnam, retiring in Sept. of 1968. His favorite quote was "nothing too good for the troops" and "why sure". He worked as a master baker/cook for the U.S. Government while in the service. Norman also worked as a cook at UNH and head chef/cook for Frisbie Memorial Hospital and retired in 1991 after 23 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, godfather and uncle.
