Opal Irene Gowen

Farmington, NH- Opal Irene Gowen passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 10,2021 at her home. Known by family and friends as Mom, Nana, and Opie, she will be remembered for her kindness, strength and her welcoming smile. She loved her family above all other things. She was a member of the Farmington Country Club and loved to golf. Opal enjoyed bingo and going to the casino. Members of her family include her loving husband of 64 years, Gerald "Jerry" Gowen, her four children, Deborah and husband Tim Congram, Wayne and his wife Deb Gowen, George and his wife Diane Gowen, Laurie and her husband Doug Burke; 12 grandchildren; 21and 1/2 great grandchildren and she has also left behind her extended family and dear friend Shirley who were all like her own brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her parents, Eva and Kirk Crawford and her sister, Janelle. Family and friends may visit Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 2-4 PM at the R. M.
