Patricia M. Logan

Milton-Patricia Maydelle (Parsons) Logan passed away February 27, 2011 at her home after a short illness. Patricia was born in Rochester on May 17, 1925, daughter of the late Mary (Regan) Parsons Davis and Bernard Parsons. A lifelong resident of Milton, Pat went to Milton Grammar school and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1943. After graduation she married her grammar school sweetheart, Charlie Logan of Milton. After a 24-hour honeymoon, Charlie left for military service in the European Theater. While her husband was away, Pat went to work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a welder, one of the original Rosie the Riveters'. Following the war, Pat and Charlie lived in Boston while attending hairdressing school. Upon their return, they opened the Towne Beauty Shoppe on Main Street in Milton, where she practiced hairdressing until their retirement in the 1980's.
