Milton-Patricia Maydelle (Parsons) Logan passed away February 27, 2011 at her home after a short illness. Patricia was born in Rochester on May 17, 1925, daughter of the late Mary (Regan) Parsons Davis and Bernard Parsons. A lifelong resident of Milton, Pat went to Milton Grammar school and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1943. After graduation she married her grammar school sweetheart, Charlie Logan of Milton. After a 24-hour honeymoon, Charlie left for military service in the European Theater. While her husband was away, Pat went to work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a welder, one of the original Rosie the Riveters'. Following the war, Pat and Charlie lived in Boston while attending hairdressing school. Upon their return, they opened the Towne Beauty Shoppe on Main Street in Milton, where she practiced hairdressing until their retirement in the 1980's. After retirement they moved the old Girl Scout House from Main Street to a new location near Town House Pond. They refurbished the building, which became their cozy retirement cottage. This home was the hub of the family and the scene of many happy memories. Pat and Charlie enjoyed many Sunday afternoons playing cards with Paula & Jack. Pat and Charlie spent many winters in Florida, as well as traveling extensively, visiting relatives in California, Arizona, Ireland, Japan and Thailand. Patricia continued her travels after Charlie's death, visiting Ireland, England, Singapore, Malaysia, California, Mexico and Florida. Pat was an avid reader and NY Times Crossword enthusiast, as well as a talented artist, encouraging her grandchildren to pursue their artistic talents. Pat is survived by her three daughters: Kathy Randall and her husband Ed of Sanbornville, Susan Audiffred of Pensacola, Fl., Kelly Barca and her husband David of Milton, her two sons: C. Michael and his wife Bonnie of Milton, and Patrick and his wife Rita Hickey of Wolfeboro.
