Patty Spooner passed away on June 13, 2018, after battling pancreatic cancer at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover. Patty was born May 17, 1961 in Portsmouth N.H. She was the daughter of the late Roy Brock and Barbara Frisbee Brock. She was raised in Portsmouth and graduated Portsmouth High in 1979. Patty loved to travel, she went on several trip with Doug including a cruise. She brought Katie to see her mom a few times. She went on a cruise with her best friend Donna and her son Bill. She loved to gamble she went to Foxwoods with Doug and brought Donna there for her 50th birthday. She loved Bingo and used to go with her friends and co-workers. Her favorite thing was being an amazing step mom to Katie. She was an amazing Aunt and helped in many ways in mentoring her nieces and nephew's she helped raise Kaylee. She was the oldest of 5 children and the only girl. She loved her brothers and sister in-laws. She was the best friend a person could ever have. Everyone she met she touched their heart. She was a care giver and gave with all her heart. She loved cooking big meals for Holidays and family gathers. She always put everyone else first. She found her passion as an LNA and put all her heart and soul into caring for people. Patty was a care giver, always giving of herself. She helped raise many children. Most of all she found love with Doug which made her complete. She could ask for a better man. She was blessed with his love. Patty leaves behind her twenty year fiancé and love of her life Douglass Sylvester and her stepdaughter Katie Sylvester and her boyfriend Rodney. Her grandson Ryan and grandson to be born in August. Her two sons Karl Thomas and Aaron Michael Spooner. Her brother Roy Brock his wife Debby and their children Nathan and Darren Brock. Her brother Troy Brock and his children Troy Jr., Zachary and Kaylee Brock. His girlfriend Lisa Small. Her brother David Brock and his wife Sharon who was a sister to her. Her brother Mark Brock and his son Mark Jr. and girlfriend Cindy. Doug's mother Madeline and father Gordon along with Doug's brother Paul, sister in law Lisa and their children. Many cousins, Tracey Frisbee and his son Jeff his wife Kasey and his son. Sherry, Tammy, Susan and Desirae to mention a few. Her Aunt Pearl. In 1975 she met her best friend Donna Ouellette. She helped mentored her son Bill Richardson. She was preceded by, George Deedee, Judy, Sonny, Gene, Bill, Janet Patty had some many people in her life that she loved and cared for throughout her life. The list could go on and on. Patty worked at the Rochester manor for 7 years and made many friends there. She also worked at Portsmouth Hospital, the Wentworth house and for private homes. For 22 years she worked for Trelleborg Palmer Chenard. There she met so many good friends. She graduated Seacoast Career School in Sanford in 2011 as a medical assistant. Then proceed to get her LNA license. Her Family wishes to thank the staff at Wentworth Douglass Hospital Garrison west wing and to all the nurses who cared for her during her two weeks there and to the nurses at the cancer center at Wentworth Douglass Hospital. Thank you to the Hyder House staff for their love, devotion and care of her during her last days. Patty will live on in each of us for Eternity.
