Paul E. Blanchette

Rochester, NH- Paul E. Blanchette, 83, of 76 Tradewinds Lane died Thursday March 19, 2015 at Riverside Rest Home after a period of failing health. He was born Dec. 26, 1931 in Biddeford, ME, the son of the late Albert and Rose (Bouchard) Blanchette. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1953. Paul has resided in this area most of his life and worked in the shoe business at Benjamin Walk Co., Dover Shoe, Somersworth Shoe ,Roberts and Hubbard Shoe. Paul also worked for the Rochester Fire Dept. and was the Unions first president. He was a past Exaulted Ruler for the Elks Lodge # 1393 and enjoyed attending conventions and being an active officer. He was also a past member of the Rochester Moose Club. He loved playing with his great grandchildren.
