Paul A. Fortier

Paul A. Fortier, 77, passed away Friday December 31, 2010 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital with his family at his side after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Paul was born September 4, 1933 in Somersworth, NH, the son of the late Jean-Baptiste Fortier and Alphonsine LeBlond Fortier. Paul served in the U.S. Navy from August 1951 to June 1954. Paul worked for Moore Business Forms in Dover, NH for 36 years. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. He especially loved spending time at the family apple orchard. Paul is survived by his wife, Madeleine Morin Fortier and his three daughters Elaine Fortier of Somersworth, Melanie Cantin and husband Roger of Berwick, ME, and Aimee Fortier and fiancé Conrod Nicely of Berwick, ME; his four grandsons Justin Cantin and wife Elizabeth of Berwick ME, Jared Cantin and wife Leigh of Berwick, ME, Joshua Cantin and Cassy Cox of Somersworth, and CJ Nicely; one granddaughter Emily Nicely;...
