Paul E. Sanfacon

Paul E. Sanfacon age 94 of 1 Heron Way Barrington, NH passed away on December 5th 2022.  He was born September 13, 1928 in Rochester, NH, the son of Eddie and Madeline Sylvain Sanfacon.  He lived in Rochester for 50 years, then moved to Barrington NH to live on Ayers Lake for the remainder of his life. He graduated from Spaulding High School in 1946 where he played baseball, football and made all state hockey.  In 1949 he signed a professional baseball contract with the Philadelphia Athletics, and was also a member of Allain's Jewelry baseball team that went to the Nationals in Witchita, Kansas.  He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp. in Japan and upon his return he worked at Palmer Plumbing Supply for 21 years and retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in 1990. Paul had a deep love of sports and supporting his local community.  Over the years he helped organize the Rochester Babe Ruth League, Blue Hills Ski Club, and Rochester Youth Hockey.
