Peter Anthony Baussmann

Peter Baussmann ROCHESTER - Peter Anthony Baussmann Jr, 67, of Rochester, NH, died early Thursday morning, Oct. 28, 2010, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine of complications due to a fall. He was born on Nov. 14, 1942 in Patchogue, NY, the son of Peter Baussmann Sr and Lillian Sweetman. Upon graduating Patchogue High School, Peter proudly served in The United States Air Force for four years. Stationed at Pease Air force Base in Portsmouth, NH, his tenure also brought him to Goose Bay, Labrador and Germany. A raconteur, full of wit and charm, Peter will be remembered most by those who knew him as the "life of the party." His generosity preceded him and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved music, dancing, Casper the dog, retirement, yard sales on the weekend and cruising in "the Miata." For more than 35 years he worked at Goss International in Dover, NH, building printing presses that would be used to print magazines and news papers including the Foster's Daily Democrat.
