Peter Frank Stetson, 81, from Dover, NH, passed away after a short battle with lung cancer on September 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Peter Stetson was born on February 14, 1945, in Rochester, NH to Clyde and Jeanne Stetson. Peter grew up in Farmington NH and graduated from Farmington High School. He immediately went into the Airforce after high school and served for 21 years. Following his military career he then spent the next 40 years working in security. Peter worked until the ripe old age of 80, he was very proud of his work ethic.

Peter was survived by his daughter, Angela Reinholz and her husband Erik, his daughter, Jennifer Powers and her husband Bill. his four grandchildren; Kyle Morrison, Haley Butler, Amy Powers and Hannah Reinholz. Peter was predeceased by his sister Ann Dorsey.

Peter's hobbies included hunting and fishing. He especially loved trout fishing in Montana. He loved to bowl and was very active in the local bowling leagues. Peter loved his New England sports teams and enjoyed rooting for the Patriots and the red sox.

The family will be having a private burial at Kimball Cemetery.
