Philip Hett

Alton Bay, NH- Philip "Phil" Hett, 80, of 128 Alton Mountain Road died Wednesday December 28, 2016 at Colonial Hill Rehab after a long illness. He was born Nov. 1, 1936 in Portsmouth, NH the son of the late Frank and Helen Hett. Phil was a graduate of Gordon Seminary and Andover Newton Seminary. He pastored many churches in Ohio, Haverhill, MA and Lebanon, ME. Later in life Phil worked as an insurance agent for Bankers Life Insurance Company. He has resided in Alton Bay for the past 14 years previously living in Milton, NH. As an active member of the Emmanuel Advent Christian Church Phil was part of the Men's group, sang in the choir, and taught Bible studies. He enjoyed antiquing and watching sports on the television. Member of his family include his wife of 32 years, Jean (Waterhouse) Hett; son, Dan Hett; daughters, Linda Glass and Karen Matthews; step daughter Misty and her husband Randy Couch who helped to care for Phil during his illness; brother, Rev.
