Phyllis G. Carlson

Rochester NH- Phyllis G. Carlson, 92, of 40 Whitehall Road died Saturday May 7, 2011 at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health. She was born Dec. 20, 1918 in Farmington, NH the daughter of the late Wilfred and Vera (Rewick) Gilbert. She has resided in this area all of her life and had worked in food service at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed squaredancing and camping. Her other hobbies included reading, crossword puzzles and counted cross stitch. Phyllis was a longtime member of the Third Baptist Church of Strafford. The widow of Roy G. Carlson who died in 1995 she is survived by sons, Arvid Carlson of Strafford, NH, Wilfred Carlson of Rotonda,FL.; sister, Donna Hunsberger of Souderton, PA. Her two brothers Lawrence Gilbert of Farmington and Everett Gilbert of New Mexico. Eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
