Phyllis Griffin

Rochester NH - Phyllis (Phyll) Irene (Wheeler) Griffin, 84, resident of Wellsweep Acres, Rochester NH. After a courageous battle with cancer, Phyllis passed away peacefully at the Rochester Manor on October 8th 2016.   Phyllis was one of nine children born to the late Arthur and Christine Wheeler in Lexington MA on June 19, 1932. She was the beloved wife of the late US Army veteran Roland (Slim) Griffin. She is survived by her sons; David Griffin, John Griffin, her daughter, Amy Tremblay, and her four grandchildren, Ty, Mike, Brock, and Lauretta. She is also survived by; her brother Wesley Wheeler and two sisters Barbara Potter and Marjorie Stiles. She is predeceased by; brothers Charles, Edwin, Richard, Harold, and Raymond Wheeler.   Phyllis graduated from Dover High School. She has been a long time resident of Rochester. She dedicated many years of employment with Thompson Center Arms and John Hancock Insurance Company. She has been a member of True Memorial Baptist Church since 1968. She enjoyed prayer...
