Phyllis W Tucker

Rochester NH-Phyllis W. Tucker, 82, of Rochester died January 18, 2024 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital with her family by her side. Born February 19, 1941 in Boston MA to the late G. Philip and Catherine M. (Whittemore) Whitman. She graduated Stamford High School, Stamford CT in 1959 and attended Vermont College in Montpelier VT.  She traveled extensively with her parents as a child as her father served in WWII. Phyllis was a loving mother to her 5 children. She worked for 20 years at R.E. White Company as an executive secretary.  Phyllis and her late husband, Charles R. Tucker, especially enjoyed traveling the East Coast and Canada. She enjoyed fishing with her husband in the lake's region of Quebec. She also enjoyed spending summers at the family Camp Kafrema on Tuftonboro Neck on Lake Winnipesaukee and working at the old Yum Yum shop where she met her late husband.  She and her husband raised their children in West Hartford, CT before moving to Rochester NH.
