Rochester, NH- Prudence (Manchester) Tuttle, 95, a longtime resident of Rochester died Sunday Dec. 11, 2016 at Colonial Hill Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Lebanon , Maine April 7, 1921 daughter of George and Prudence (Googin) Manchester. She was the widow of Laurence S. Tuttle who died in 1990. She was a 1939 Graduate of Old Rochester High School. She enjoyed art and was Class Artist. She won a Gold Medal at the New York's Worlds Faire in 1939 for her art work. She was a scout leader and member of Evangeline Rebekah Lodge and the Grange. Mrs. Tuttle worked many years at Public Service Company and the American Cancer Society as Transportation Chairman for Strafford County for 18 years. She is survived by son Mark O. Tuttle and wife Sonya of Rochester; two grandchildren, Douglas of Dover and Tracy of Wakefield, NH. great grandsons, Teegan and Parker Drouin. Mrs. Tuttle was predeceased by two brothers, Major Albert Manchester of Texas and Warren Manchester of Vermont. There will be no calling hours....
