Rachel T. Johnson

Rochester- Rachel Johnson, 63, of 53 Day Lilly Lane died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Born May 30, 1948 in Acton, Maine. She was the daughter of the late Bernard and Virginia (Smith) Sprague. Rachel worked as a stitcher at the Shoe Doctor. She enjoyed stitching, crocheting, and gardening. Being a mother was the most important thing to her. Members of her family include her son Wayne Hunter of Rochester, Her daughter Wendy Hunter of Oregon and Jenni Hunter of Rochester. Her brother Dave Sprague and girlfriend Helen of Farmington. Her sisters; Jane Leary and husband Rod of Milton, Phyllis Parsell of Milton, and Irene Stevens and husband Roland of MA. Her grandchildren; Filbert Anderson of Oregon, Johnathan Flannery of Somersworth, Dohnovan Ferris of Maine, and Rachel Powers of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Johnson and a daughter Jennifer Hunter. Calling hours will be Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 9 AM to 11 AM in the chapel of the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH 03867 A funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
