Randolph "Randy" Coberly passed away Wednesday ,November 18, 2015. Born in Rochester, PA on March 18, 1959, son of Betty & Dale Cusick, his late stepfather, Dean Foster, and William & Karen Coberly. Randy moved to Eliot 20 years ago and built his dream home. Living in Maine, he developed a passion for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, skiing, The Red Sox, and Patriots. Randy would be seen about town driving his Chevy (NASCAH-plated) truck, and on occasion (much to the dismay of his passengers and other drivers) he seemed unaware that he was in fact NOT on a race track. He worked hard for many years as a fisherman, but never made a dollar from it, so he needed a backup job and worked as a service technician for Fairpoint. Although his body may have failed him at the end of his life, his heart exerted Herculean feats while he was with us, loving his survivors which include: Cheri (Hemenway) Coberly, his wife and best friend of 20 years. His sons: Fellow Saco River warrior Thomas Coberly (April), his tinkering partner Allen "Buddy" Burrows, and his trusted fishing companion, Matthew Coberly Hemenway. His daughters: Erica Tacito (Damian), who he so proudly walked down the aisle at her New Years Eve wedding, and Tiffanie Burrows, his Red Sox cheering partner. Brothers: Eddie (Donna) Bill (Ann) and Ken (Cindy) Coberly. His devoted sister, Dottie Moretti (Joe). The grandchildren he adored: Tim, Reese, Emily, Makayla, and Elias. Along with many Nieces and nephews. Randy loved his dog Kody who died just a week before. As always, running ahead to get there first. They decided they would leave this world together. In of flowers, Randy would have appreciated donations being made to his go fund me page to help defray the cost of his medical expenses. www.gofundme.com/5n752h94 Calling hours will be Sunday, November 22nd at RM Edgerly Funeral Home at 86 South Main Street in Rochester, NH from 12-3pm, service immediately following.
