Ray Laskey

BOSCAWEN - Ray Laskey, 83, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at the Concord Hospital following a period of failing health.Born June 11, 1926, in Newbury Port, Mass., he was the son of the late Oscar and Rose (Valliere) Laskey.Mr. Laskey lived in Rochester most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He worked as a tool and die maker for Jarvis for many years and worked in the maintenance department for the Rochester School System. He was a member of the American Legion Post 31 of Penacook; he was a longtime member of True Memorial Baptist Church and was involved in working with the Brigade. He enjoyed working with kids.Members of his family include his children, Timothy Laskey and wife, Lisa, of Georgia, Joel Laskey of Oklahoma, Patrick Laskey of Pembroke, Kirk Laskey and wife, Patricia, of Boscawen, and his daughter-in-law, Lisa; his three children, Nancy, David, and John, from a previous marriage.
