Raymond L. Carter

Sandown, NH -- Raymond Leroy Carter of North Road died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Colonial Poplin Rehab Center. He rests from his labors of nearly 100 years, awaiting the promise of the resurrection to eternal life at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. He was born December 12, 1917 in Bangor, ME, the son of the late Dr. Linden J. and Bertha (Ellis) Carter. He graduated from Norwalk (CT) High School and retired from the Kurt H. Volk Printing Company after more than 30 years as a pressman. He was a longtime member of the Community Advent Christian Church in East Norwalk, CT where he sang in the choir, served as a Deacon, and taught the Men's Bible Class. Ray loved reading his Bible, vacationing at Alton Bay, NH, keeping up to date on the latest technological gadgets, and sharing life with his wife of nearly 76 years, whom he adored.
