Rochester NH - Richard "Dick" Aubert, 66 of Rochester, died Thursday, December 6th at his home with his family by his side after battling pancreatic cancer. Born May 21, 1946 in Somersworth NH he is the son of the late Armand and Florence (Burley) Aubert. Dick has lived in Rochester for the past 46 years. He is a graduate of Somersworth High School class of 1964, where he played football and baseball. He was employed as a meat cutter with Swift Inc. for 28 years. Following, he worked at Carney Drug for many years, in the store and delivering equipment. Dick was a member of the Elks Lodge 1393 in Rochester where he loved to play poker every Sunday. He played on the Carney Drug softball team being nicknamed "Vacuum Cleaner". He was an avid outdoorsman, having loved hunting and fishing. During hunting season he went by his alter ego "Frank Buck". He would enjoy going to Dar Ellis' camp with all his buddies during hunting season. He also enjoyed trips to Vegas with his friends and family for fun. Watching his grand children play sports was a favorite. He loved to coach them in baseball on the side. He coached his son in baseball growing up and helped to build Roger Allen Park. The one thing he enjoyed over all his other interests was dancing with his wife of 46 years, Judi, whom he met on the dance floor in high school. Members of his family include his wife of 46 years, Judi (Place) Aubert, his daughter Staci Kondrup and her husband Damon of Rochester. He is predeceased by a son, Timothy M. Aubert. He is also predeceased by a sister Estel and her husband Charlie Perron. Other family members include, a brother Paul Aubert and his wife Joyce of New Durham NH. His sisters Irene Davis and her husband Bob of Acton ME and Diane Wilbur of Somersworth. His grand children, Kara Gilbert, Joab Aubert, Katarina and Kameron Kondrup and a great grandchild Caleb Brooks.
