Richard T. Larcome, 87, of Rochester, N.H, formally of Peabody, MA. passed away Sunday, March 23 following a period of declining health.
He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Filaccio) Larcome, with whom he spent 58 years of marriage.
Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lucy (Lanzo) Larcome.
Richard graduated from MIT with a BA. He enjoyed landscaping, the theater, and traveling with his beloved wife, Joyce.
Prior to retirement he was employed for 21 years at Analogic Corporation, Centennial Dr., Peabody as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
He was also an Engineer for MIT. One of his proudest accomplishments was working on the Apollo 11 spacecraft.
In addition to his loving wife, he leaves his son, Jeff Larcome, of Berwick, Maine, two granddaughters, Pamela Larcome, of Mexico, Maine and Shelby Larcome, of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, he is pre-deceased by his sisters, Barbara and Jeanne, and his brother Robert. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
