Richard (Dick) Pearce Selleck

Richard (Dick) Pearce Selleck, 91, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2018 from colon cancer at Colonial Hill Center in Rochester, NH with his loving wife by his side. He was the husband of Gayle Gibson Selleck. They shared 36 years of marriage.He was born in Quincy, MA on May 8, 1927. Dick was the son of Laurence Mather and Doris Pearce Selleck. He attended Milton High School, served in the US Navy at the end of WWII, attended Huntington Prep School and the University of Maine.Dick was an Underwriter/Executive Manager in the insurance industry covering New England for 20 years and spent 10 years as a Building Inspector for the city of Dover prior to retirement. He was an active member of the Jaycees and Brunswick Golf Club. Dick enjoyed baseball, golfing, sailing, the symphony orchestra and was a talented cartoonist.
