Barrington, NH - Richard (Rick) R. Aiken, 58, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, with his daughters by his side, after a brave battle with cancer. Born November 15, 1962 in Rochester, NH, he was the son of William Sr. and Arlene (Haycock) Aiken. Rick has lived in Barrington for a very short time after moving from Milton where he had lived for the past 20 plus years. He was employed as a Sales Consultant at Southern Maine Floors. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and watching baseball and football. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Miami Dolphins. Rick was a loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend who would do anything for his loved ones. He was a dependable hard worker who could often be found doing repairs around the house or working in the yard. Members of his family include his mother, Arlene Aiken of Sanford, ME; his daughters, Michelle Aiken and her significant other, Alan DeNuzzio of Barrington, NH; Melissa Aiken and her significant other, Nic Morse of Barrington, NH; his step-son, Ormon Dodge III of Rochester, NH; his grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, and Lily; his siblings, William Aiken, Jr. of Sanford, ME; Bruce Aiken of Durham, NH; Alan Aiken of Acton, ME; Deborah Gagnon of Shapleigh, ME; Buddy Aiken, and wife Christine of Springvale, ME; mother in law, Helen Bibeau of Rochester, NH; brothers in law, Gerald Bibeau, Jr., and wife Laurie of Strafford, NH; and Alan Bibeau and wife Margaret of York, ME; as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, William Aiken, Sr.; his wife, Pauline Aiken; his father in law, Gerald Bibeau, Sr.; his sister, Sherry Corr, and husband Joseph Corr; sister in law, Jane Aiken; brother in law, Paul Gagnon; his dog and loyal companion, Chico. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 5-8pm in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Inc, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867. Friends and family are encouraged to wear their favorite Boston Red Sox apparel, per Rick's wishes.
