Richard N. Shorey Jr.

Richard N. Shorey, Jr, 84, of River Road passed away at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital on Tuesday April 16, 2024. Richard was born July 30, 1939 in Rochester, NH the son of the late Richard and Marion (Bailey) Shorey. He has resided in Lebanon, ME most of his life. He worked for many years at Pratt-Whitney. He was passionate about building homes, restoring old cars, and going to car shows. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Richard was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in East Rochester, NH. Members of his family include his loving wife of 64 years, Janet (Hayes) Shorey, sons, Bruce and wife Jeanette, Brian and Brent and his wife Jennifer; daughter, Debbie and her husband Frank Lapierre; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday April 23, 2024 from 10-12 at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. A Memorial service will follow at 12 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
