Richard "Dick" Timmons

Gonic - Richard W. "Dick" Timmons, 78, passed away Sunday October 23, 2016 at the Rochester Manor following a period of failing health.   Born March 25, 1938 in Dover, NH he was the son of the late Carl and Mildred (Varney) Grace.   Dick grew up in Rochester, graduated Spaulding High School, class of 1957 and remained a Rochester citizen living in Gonic for over 52 years.   Starting in his early career he worked for NH Finance in Dover and then a short while as a Patrolman with the Rochester Police Department, after which he worked at Ray's Marina in Milton for many years. He finished his career working at Southeast Bank in Dover where he ran their collections department up until his retirement.   Dick was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Dover, NH for nearly 40 years, serving as Chairman of the scholarships committee and involved in many other community activities.
