Ricky Libby

Sanbornville - Ricky S. Libby, 62, passed away unexpectedly while hiking Mt. Jefferson on Saturday, October 15, 2016.   Born July 10, 1954 in Sanford, ME, he was the son of the late Albion and Janet (Eldridge) Libby.   Mr. Libby spent more than 40 years working in technology-related fields.   Ricky was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hiking. He also loved spending time with his family and especially spoiling his grandchildren.   Members of his family include his wife of 39 years, Deidre (McGlame) Libby of Sanbornville, NH; his children Meghan Plaisted and husband Aaron of Amherst, NH; Erin Cote and husband Nathan of Dover, NH; and Ryan Libby and wife Brianna of New Boston, NH; two grandchildren Iris and Meara; his siblings Harry, Dennis, Scott, Robert, and James; and many nieces and nephews.   Family and friends may visit Friday, October 21, from 4-6PM at the R.M.
