Rita J Estes

Rochester - Rita J. (Pearson) Estes. 63 passed away February 23, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with lung disease. Born August 24, 1946 in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rita Pearson. Family was always the single most important thing to her. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, crafts, traveling, the ocean, and spoiling her grandchildren. Members of her family include her children Ronald J. Bassill of Rochester, NH; Robert F. Bassill of Attleboro, MA; Lisa M. Bassill and her life partner Lorri A. Cameron of Rochester, NH; and Carole L. Bassill and her significant other of 15 years Sean W. Harmon, of Lebanon, ME; eight grandchildren Christina, Jamie, Dominique, Breanna, Angela, Justin, Brandon, and Taylor. Two great grandsons Landyn and Cayden, a godson Christopher Pearson, thirteen siblings Barbara Greenwood, Richard Pearson, June Jenkins, Albert, Jimmy, Tommy, Peter, Bobby, Billy, Michael, Dorothy, and Carl Pearson, and Theresa O'Connor, several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved friend David M. Estes. Rita's children would like to thank all of the family and friends for their support during this difficult time.
