Robert Richard Blanchette

Rochester- Robert Richard Blanchette, 79 of 50 Richardson Street died Saturday June 30, 2012 at the Rochester Manor. Born June 5, 1933 in Lawrence, MA. He was the son of the late Alcide E. and Eleanor (Petzold) Blanchette. Bob grew up in Lawrence MA and attended Central Catholic High School. He proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. After he was honorably discharged he attended Merrimack College where he earned his Bachelors degree in business. Bob married his college sweetheart MaryAnn Bootman and moved to Rochester, NH. Bob worked as the Director of Retail Programs at Sweet Life in Northboro, MA and was a member of the Rochester Elks. Bob loved to golf, travel, go to the movies and the ocean. He was a great cook and was famous for his sauerbraten meals.
