Robert Cheney

Dover, NH- Robert Cheney, born 1927 in Milton, NH passed away Friday October 5, 2018 at home with his loving wife Joan, son Robert Cheney, grandsons, Johnathan and Dylan Cheney by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Velena Cheney and his sisters Mary, Phyllis and Alice. Robert loved gardening, family and friends. He was such a wonderful, kind man and will be sadly missed every day of our lives. Robert was a very loving man with a good sense of humor even to the end. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a mechanic by trade and had worked for the City of Dover for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Joan; son, Robert and is wife Sherry and children; brother and sister in laws, Judy and Pat McMullen; Janet and Richard Shorey; John and Annabelle Hayes and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Tuesday Oct. 9, 2018 from 1-3 PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street Rochester, NH.
