Farmington - Robert J. Dandeneau, 64, passed away Thursday October 13, 2011 at his home following a brief illness. Born September 4, 1947 in Rochester he was the son of Edward and Georgette (Laviolette) Dandeneau. Mr. Dandeneau served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He had most recently worked as a Security Officer for Securitas. He was a 41 year member of the American Legion Post 47 in Rollinsford. He enjoyed camping, ATV riding, yard work, and especially watching the Boston Red Sox. Members of his family include his wife of 20 years Rhonda (Fleming) Dandeneau of Farmington, NH; his mother Georgette Gondella of Rochester, NH; his children Chad Dandeneau and fiancé Kari of Manchester, NH; Amanda Gonzales and husband Antonio and Barry Glidden and wife Kelly of Indiana, PA; his grandchildren Evan, Deanna, Kristin, Amber, Nicholas, and Logan, his siblings Henry (Skippy) St. Laurent of Springvale, ME; Suzanne Orr of East Rochester, NH; and Louise LaBrecque of West Newfield, ME; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Edward Dandeneau, a daughter Tammy Glidden, a grandson Jordan Gonzales, and two brothers Lucien Theodore (Teddy), and James Dandeneau. Family and friends may call Wednesday October 19 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH. A private burial will take place at a later date.
